The Stainless Steel Wire must be connected in straight lines. The wire can pass through intermediate newel posts. The wire is joined to the newel posts by an End Fixing Unit. The End Fixing Unit consists of a Dual Headed Screw, Lock Nut and Inside Thread Connector which is clamped (swaged) onto the wire.
A Tensioner is required if the wire length exceeds 4 metres. Two tensioners are required if the wire length exceeds 15 metres. The maximum length is 25m for a single run. The Tensioner will replace the Inside Thread Connector at one end with the addition of a Threaded Stud and extra lock nut.
See our Step by Step Stainless Steel Wire Balustrade with Wood Posts Assembly Instructions for straight runs and steps.
The Marlow Range of Stainless steel wire balustrade can be installed on either level decking or steps.
