Manila is a good strong rope that it very suitable for exterior use as it is resistant to sunlight. It ideal as a garden or decking rope.

Manila is a natural fibre and will shorten when the rope comes into contact with water. The fibres absorb the water and swell causing the rope to shorten. When the rope dries it will then lengthen. You should allow a minimum of 10% to your requirement to take this into account.

The rope has a nominal diameter of 32mm, but an actual diameter of 35mm

Enhance your rope with brass or chrome fixings. These are available for 28mm rope. They can be used on 24mm rope, but the fitting will not be so tight.
