Manila is a good strong rope that is very suitable for exterior purposes as it is resistant to sunlight. It is ideal as a garden or decking rope.

Manila is a natural fibre and will shorten when the rope comes into contact with water. The fibres absorb the water and swell causing the rope to shorten. When the rope dries it will then lengthen. You should allow a minimum of 10% to your requirement to take this into account.  

The 32mm manila rope has a nominal diameter of 32mm. This is the diameter when it is initially spun. When it is relaxed the diameter increases to 35/36mm

Enhance your rope with brass or chrome fixings. These are available for both 24mm and 28mm rope.
