Manila is a good strong rope that it very suitable for exterior use as it is resistant to sunlight. It ideal as a garden or decking rope.

Manila is a natural fibre and will shorten when the rope comes into contact with water. The fibres absorb the water and swell causing the rope to shorten. When the rope dries it will then lengthen. You should allow a minimum of 10% to your requirement to take this into account.

Manila rope is a natural fibre and its diameter may vary by plus/minus 1mm depending on tightness of construction
