Manila is a good strong rope that is very suitable for external use, as it is resistant to sunlight.It ideal as a garden or decking rope.

40mm diameter £5.82 per metre (inc. VAT) - We import our manila rope direct from the Philippines and by having a minimum order quantity of 10 metres of rope, we are able to offer our customers the lowest prices.

18mm diameter £1.30 per metre (inc. VAT).

24mm diameter £2.12 per metre (inc. VAT)

Manila is a natural fibre and will shorten when the rope comes into contact with water. The fibres absorb the water and swell causing the rope to shorten. When the rope dries it will then lengthen. You should allow a minimum of 10% to your requirement to take this into account.

The rope has a nominal diameter of 40mm. This is the diameter when it is initially spun. After the rope has relaxed the actual diameter increases to around 46/50mm.

Please note: Our brass and chrome fittings do not fit 40mm rope.
