Windsor Range of Stainless Steel Wire Balustrades with Stainless Steel Posts for Decking
Posts and fittings are available in either Grade 304 (standard) or Marine Grade (316). Marine Grade should be used within 5 miles of the sea or around swimming pools.
A single run of up to 30 metres of Stainless Steel Wire may be used when the run is a straight line. A single run may also be used when there are no more than 2 changes of angle, but in this case the maximum run is 20 metres. A straight run under 4 metres requires only an End Fixing Unit at each end. A straight run between 4 and 10 metres requires an End Fixing Unit at one end and a Tensioner Unit at the other end. Straight runs above 20 metres require a Tensioner Unit at each end.
The wire can pass through intermediate newel posts. In order to maintain the tension of the wire a handrail is required. If there are more than 2 corners a Swageless Unit is required at one end and a Tensioner Unit at the other end.

Normally we recommend 4 wires per balustrade, but note that a wire balustrade will not satisfy Building Regulations as children can climb them
